My daughter was 18 months when she started at Young Minds Montessori, and it was her first time away from home.  The teachers and staff at YM are friendly and welcoming and there really aren't any words to describe how patient they were during the transition process.  They keep parents well informed with daily reports, monthly newsletters and progress reports.

My daughter has blossomed so much since the start of the school year, becoming more independent and confident.  She is excited to go to school every morning to see her teachers and all her friends.  Her interest in music is fostered through the YM music program and I'm eager for her to participate in the various after school programs offered to Casa children, when she moves from the toddler class.

YM nurtures a love of learning and I couldn't be happier with my decision.

Why Choose Young Minds Montessori?
One of the most important decisions you're responsible for making is where to send your child for their education. Early on in their lives school acts as a constant supply of experiences (cognitive social emotional and physical as well as self esteem.)
Finding your place in this world is challenging as an adult, so I wanted my daughter to have a place to spend her early years developing with a loving nurturing intellectual staff.
Most schools have these qualities in their teachers but there is a level of excellence at Young Minds that drew me to them. Having a daughter who is still finding her way through the self regulation process can be very challenging for staff. At Young Minds we as a family were treated with the utmost respect and co-operation from all levels of employees.
When we had a special request it was met with an unconditional commitment. The staff and supervisor at Young Minds are very sensitive to how hard parenting can be and I felt that they were excellent with their communication and open to and welcomed our opinions.
The curriculum at Young Minds is tried and true, structured learning and encouragement is apparent, as over a very short time my daughter was putting on and taking off her own shoes, coats, and being efficient at all tasks she took on.
A smile at the end of the day says it all for me. Stories about her teacher every day with a beautiful lit up face is priceless.
Although our time at Young Minds was cut short, I highly recommend this wonderful Montessori School to any parent who is looking for the best place for their child to be.

It is no wonder Young Minds Montessori’s tag line is where young minds grow.  Our son and daughter both attended Young Minds as early as 9 months and 2 years old and graduated from the program.

Their development during those years was tremendous.  By the time, they both were ready to enter Grade 1, they had a proficient knowledge of basic French, they were reading chapter books and adding, subtracting, with some multiplying and division knowledge as well.  The staff is exemplary at Young Minds.  In the Toddler program, we received daily reports about what our child had worked on that day, played with and accomplished.  It was like a daily diary (I’ve kept a few of those reports for the kids to see when they grow up).  Report cards were extremely thorough and comprehensive and gave a complete overview of every activity our children were working on.  We discovered areas of interest and those areas that needed a bit more work so we could help along with the program.  We are so happy to have been part of such a productive and beneficial environment towards the crucial first years of education of our children.

Young Minds Montessori is a wonderful place for a child to grow in and learn life skills. My little daughter started at Young Minds when she was only 18 months old and I can confidently say that sending her Young Minds was the best decision we have made for her. We initially looked for a place that would have great menu, because after seeing nachos on the menu of a toddler was not very appealing to our household. Young Minds has a great in house chef that prepares meals for the children daily. Since her enrollment our daughter has mastered so many skills and has become so independent. The school environment is warm and organized. Children are always well taken care and receive an individualized approach which is so very important. We are sending our little son in January to follow his sister's footsteps at Young Minds.

After many visits to different preschools, Young Minds Montessori was far superior in many ways. Both of my children attend and love it! It is very clean, organized and well taken care of. The chef at the school cooks in house and prepares delicious and healthy meals everyday. The teachers are loving and very experienced and are in constant communication. My children enjoy going to Young Minds and have learned so much from their program. I have recommended the school to many friends, to which the children are now enrolled. I feel a sense of community among parents and teachers and feel very comfortable there. I would highly recommend Young Minds!
